US President Donald Trump has vowed to hit Iran “very hard” and threatened to expand strikes to include new targets.
He has also dismissed an apology offered by Iran’s president Masoud Pezeshkian to neighbouring states.
In a video message, the Iranian president said Tehran would not strike them "unless attacked first".
However, Iran’s foreign minister has said the country’s "openness to de-escalation" was "almost immediately killed” by President Trump.
Meanwhile, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have reported being attacked by missiles and drones, while Saudi Arabia has said a missile was launched towards a military base.
