Iran strikes Israeli capital Tel Aviv as US says talks with Tehran remain ‘fluid’ | BBC News

Iran has fired a barrage of missiles at central and southern Israel with strikes hitting the country’s capital of Tel Aviv.

Officials say a missile containing 100kg of explosives left a massive crater in a residential neighbourhood in the city, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doubled-down on his country’s offensive on Iran in a short video.

Meanwhile, the US have said talks with Tehran remain "fluid" despite claims by Iranian officials that suggestion of talks between the two countries are "fake news".

Elsewhere, Lebanon has expelled the Iranian ambassador to the country after more strikes on Beirut overnight.
