A border conflict between Hezbollah and Israel in southern Lebanon has escalated into a much more deadly crisis.
The past few weeks has seen exploding pagers, assassinations, a massive ballistic missile strike and an invasion.
The UN says a quarter of Lebanese territory is under evacuation orders – while about 1.2m people have been displaced in Lebanon since Israel began intense air strikes last month, and more than 2,000 people have been killed.
Now, the crisis threatens to engulf nearby countries and spark a regional war.
