US President Donald Trump has said Israel has agreed to a withdrawal line in Gaza and that an immediate ceasefire will take place as soon as Hamas agrees to his 20-point plan.
Israeli strikes on Gaza continued overnight ahead of indirect talks between Israel and Hamas negotiators in Egypt on Monday, with hopes the plan could put an end to almost two years of war.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday he hopes to announce news of the remaining hostages being released in the coming days.
