Israelis have gathered at memorial events to mark two years since Hamas’s attacks on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
At the site of the Nova festival attack, memorials have been garnished with flowers, tributes and candles.
The sister-in-law of one of 20 hostages believed to be alive in Gaza said she and other families will "keep fighting" until they are all returned to Israel.
Israel’s military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas’s attacks, which has killed at least 67,160 people there, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
