At least 16 people, including 10 children, have died after an Israeli air strike hit a group of people queueing for aid in Gaza.
A mother lost two of her five sons in Thursday’s Israeli strike, while a third was seriously wounded outside the Prjoect Hope-run Altayara health clinic in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The Israeli military said it targeted a "Hamas terrorist" and that it regretted any harm to what it called "uninvolved individuals", while adding that the incident was under review.
Project Hope said the strike was "a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and a stark reminder that no one and no place is safe in Gaza".
Meanwhile, ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas are on the brink of collapse, according to Palestinian officials.
