MELBOURNE (AUSTRALIA) (ITALPRESS) – Madison Keys ha vinto gli Australian Open femminili 2025. La 29enne statunitense, 19esima testa di serie, che in semifinale aveva avuto la meglio sull’ex numero uno del mondo e seconda favorita del seeding Iga Swiatek, ha battuto in finale la 26enne bielorussa Aryna Sabalenka, numero uno al mondo, in tre set con il punteggio di 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 dopo 2h02′ di gioco. Si tratta del primo Slam in carriera per l’americana.
