A deadly attack on a synagogue in Manchester – on the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz were killed in the attack, while three people – including Yoni Finlay, who was also shot by police while stopping the attacker – remain in hospital. Police shot dead the attacker, 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie.
A nation in shock, a community in fear – events at Heaton Park synagogue will be investigated by the security services for months to come.
