Stars attending the 2023 Met Gala paid tribute to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld with extravagant outfits.
For decades, Lagerfeld was at the helm of some of the biggest-name fashion houses in the world, including Chanel and Fendi.
When the theme of Karl Lagerfeld was announced, not everyone was happy, noting controversial comments he made in the past, particularly about women’s bodies.
Lagerfeld died in 2019 at the age of 85 and was often pictured wearing dark sunglasses alongside Choupette, his famously pampered cat, who was also honoured at the gala.
