Minute’s silence held for those that died during Covid pandemic – BBC News

A minute’s silence has been held across the UK to remember the victims of the coronavirus pandemic.

Tuesday marks the first anniversary of the Covid lockdown being announced across the UK.

Throughout the pandemic, there have been 147,681 deaths in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate; 126,172 within 28 days of a positive test.
