A mother-daughter duo have reached the edge of space, making history aboard a Virgin Galactic flight.
Keisha Schahaff from Antigua won the prize while flying to the UK, where her daughter is studying, and they were joined on the space flight by former British Olympic canoeist Jon Goodwin, 80.
At the peak of their flight – which was the first commercial space flight with a tourist on board – they were able to see the curvature of the Earth and the black of space, while also experiencing zero gravity.
The crew has now landed safely back in the US, and with more than 800 similar tickets sold, these flights could become much more common.
