Netanyahu rejects “immediate ceasefire” required by Biden peace plan | BBC News


Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made clear that his forces will continue the war in Gaza until it has achieved its objectives of destroying Hamas and freeing Israeli hostages.

President Biden has unveiled a peace plan which calls for an immediate ceasefire by Israel and Hamas, leading to negotiations on a permanent end to hostilities.
