US President Donald Trump says negotiations on Ukraine will begin after having a "lengthy and highly productive" phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the pair have agreed to work together closely, including mutual visits to their respective nations.
"We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately, and we will begin by calling President Volodymyr Zelensky, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation, something which I will be doing right now”, he said.
