US President Joe Biden has pledged federal support which could cost billions of dollars for the recovery effort in Florida in the wake of Hurricane Ian.
In a speech to residents and officials, President Biden said it could take years for Florida to recover from the devastation left behind by the "historic, titanic" storm.
The president and Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis were also praised for "unity" over the combined effort towards helping the state recover.
