A member of the British Royal Navy has died in a training exercise in the English Channel.
A helicopter ditched during night-flying exercises with an aircraft carrier near Dorset, the navy said.
There were no other fatalities or serious injuries, a spokesperson for the Royal Navy said.
UK Defence Secretary John Healey said the investigation into the accident has already started.
