Russia hits Ukrainian capital Kyiv with wave of kamikaze drones – BBC News

Russia has hit the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, with a wave of Iranian-made kamikaze drones.

A number of locations across the city have been hit, including residential buildings, with at least one person killed, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

It is understood that one of the buildings targeted was the headquarters of Ukraine’s energy company, as part of ongoing Russian efforts to target energy infrastructure ahead of the winter.
