Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Russia is waging a "gas war" against Europe by limiting the supply delivered by Nord Stream 1.
The Russian supplier, Gazprom, says supplies will be limited on the line to around 20% for a period of time due to maintenance.
Germany is one country which has relied heavily on Russian imports of gas and has said it sees no reason for the limits which halve Europe’s current supply.
