Russian president Vladimir Putin has vowed to continue attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure throughout the winter.
With snowfall and temperatures falling below zero, there are fears that the continued attacks on civilian infrastructure will see many die of hypothermia.
Despite some Western leaders calling Putin’s strategy a war crime, he has vowed to continue the attacks on Ukraine’s power grid, claiming that Ukraine “started it”.
