French President Emmanuel Macron said “nothing should be excluded" when it comes to Western troops being sent to Ukraine.
He said that Russian defeat in Ukraine is key for Europe’s security, and that European leaders had agreed to set up a coalition to give Ukraine medium- and long-range missiles and bombs.
Responding to Macron’s comments, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he had no plans for large-scale military involvement in Ukraine, while Germany, Sweden, Poland and the Czech Republic also ruled out such suggestions.
Meanwhile, Hungary’s foreign minister reiterated that Budapest is not willing to send weapons or troops to Ukraine.
