Russia’s Wagner group growth ‘underestimated’ – BBC News


The UK government has been criticised for under-estimating the growth of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group.

The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee accused the government of "a dismal lack of understanding" of Wagner’s activities in Africa.

A report itemised seven states where Wagner’s military activity has been detected: Ukraine, Syria, the Central African Republic, Sudan, Libya, Mozambique and Mali.
