Scraps of stale bread ‘keeping Afghans alive’ – BBC News


Ten months after the Taliban invasion of Afghanistan, the country is facing a humanitarian crisis, with the World Health Organization (WHO) estimating nearly 20 million people face acute hunger on a daily basis.

Over 18 million people are also lacking access to health services, according to WHO.
