Several killed in car bomb explosion at Mogadishu cafe during Euro 2024 final | BBC News


Several people have been killed after a car bomb exploded outside a cafe in Mogadishu, Somalia.

The bomb went off at 22:28 local time on Sunday while people were watching the Euro 2024 football final between Spain and England.

Al-Shabab have claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to witnesses, many customers escaped by clambering up ladders and jumping over walls.
