Somalia now suffering its worst drought in 40 years, UN warns – BBC News


A lack of seasonal rain in Somalia has led to the country suffering its most severe drought for decades, the United Nations has warned.

An estimated 6 million people have been left vulnerable, with many families being forced to leave their homes and move across the nation en masse in search of water and food.
