Nick Reiner, the son of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, is to be charged with two counts of first degree murder following the death of his parents. The couple were found at their home with multiple stab wounds two days ago.

Nick Reiner, who is 32, will be brought to court to formally face charges after he is "medically-cleared" by prison officials, according to District Attorney Nathan Hochman. Speaking at a news conference Mr Hochman said no decision had yet been made about whether to seek the death penalty.
Rob Reiner directed iconic films in a variety of genres, including This is Spinal Tap, Misery and A Few Good Men. Michele Singer Reiner was an actress, photographer and producer, and the founder of Reiner Light, a photography agency and production company.
