More gunfire and explosions have been reported in Sudan, ahead of a new ceasefire in the country.
The ‘more substantial’ ceasefire is hoped to last for a week to allow for humanitarian aid.
This ceasefire will come into place Monday evening after representatives from Sudan’s army and the RSF met and signed an agreement.
It is hoped to remain in place due to monitoring methods attached to it, meaning neither party will want to be accused of breaking it.
