Swedish police say ‘around 10’ people killed in school campus shooting | BBC News

Police in Sweden say "around 10" people have been killed in a shooting on a school campus in the central city of Orebro.

The shooting happened at a school for adults, although there are children’s schools on the site.

Right now we are identifying the dead," Roberto Eid Forest, Orebro’s chief of local police, says.

Police believe the perpetrator is among the dead and that he acted alone, although a motive is not yet clear.

Giving more detail about the perpetrator, police say he was not known to them before the shooting, has no connection to a gang and officers do not believe there was a terror motive to the attack.
