Switzerland is to begin trialling the legal sale of cannabis.
The two-year study in Basel-Stadt, or Basel City, will see if cannabis can be regulated and stabilised in an area where recreational use is already believed to be widespread.
Supplies are expected to be sold in pharmacies with prices similar to that currently being sold on the street.
