The leader of the main Islamist rebel group in Syria has met the former prime minister to co-ordinate the transfer of power.
Abu Mohammed al-Jolani said the country’s new government will pursue officials from President Assad’s regime.
He added that rewards will be offered for information about senior army and security officers involved in "war crimes".
Meanwhile, banking and public transport in Damascus are expected to resume on Tuesday as work continues to build a transitional government.
