Tennis club tries to train dogs to be tennis ‘ball boys’ for Wimbledon – BBC News


A London tennis club has failed in its attempt to train dogs to carry out the roles of ball boys and girls at Wimbledon.

Wilton Tennis Club worked with a pet insurance company to "give pets in the UK the opportunity to do what they love the most" while helping humans with their sport.

However the company’s founder Steven Mendel said at times the trial "veered towards chaos".
