Tensions over Iraq’s October 10 election continue to escalate, a week after protests over the results turned violent.
The clashes are between pro-Iranian groups and security forces.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi survived a failed assassination attempt at his home in Baghdad on Sunday.
Six of Mr Kadhimi’s guards were wounded in the pre-dawn attack by armed drones, which also damaged the building.
Mr Kadhimi says the attackers have been identified.
