More than 80 people – including children – are known to have died and another 41 are missing in Texas following flash floods.
Camp Mystic, a summer camp in Kerr County, has confirmed that at least 27 girls and counsellors are among those killed.
“Our hearts are broken alongside our families that are enduring this unimaginable tragedy,” the camp said in a statement.
More storms are expected in the region over the next 24-48 hours with flood alerts in place until 19:00 local time on Monday.
