As Thailand faces a third wave of coronavirus cases, the country has begun it’s vaccination programme – aiming to give 6m doses this month.
Thailand previously said it hoped to vaccinate half its population by the middle of the 2021, but in March the rollout of the AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine was delayed over reports of blood clots, despite there being no evidence of a link to the jab.
As many countries were hit hardest by Covid in 2020, Thailand escaped the worst of the pandemic, but now it’s facing its deadliest outbreak.
