After developing asthma at 14 years old ended his hopes of becoming a footballer, Roberto took up horse riding as a new way to get about outdoors and focused on a new career as a doctor.
When by chance a patient called with an emergency when he was out on a ride, the two loves of his life combined, making him the horse riding doctor of Piedmont.
