Sisters Alex and Chyann were repeatedly raped by their father as children.
After their case was rejected three times by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), they found they had one last avenue to try to get justice.
In this video, they explain how the process and years of delays put a strain on their relationship.
A CPS spokesperson said: "An independent judicial review found that there was no change of approach in how the CPS prosecutes rape. No matter how challenging the case, whenever our legal test is met, we always seek to charge.
"We are determined to drive up the number of rape cases going to court. Too few victims are seeing justice done and we are working hard to change that."
