The roller-skating group tackling loneliness  – BBC News

A skating group in Belfast have been helping people who struggled with loneliness and isolation during the pandemic.

Kyla Phillips hadn’t put on a pair of roller-skates since her childhood but with gyms closed during lockdown an increasing sense of isolation re-ignited her interest in the hobby. 

What started as a few friends and an Instagram page has blossomed into a community that many say has been important for their mental health.
