Two of the government’s top scientists have warned of the dangers of lifting coronavirus restrictions too quickly.
Professor Chris Whitty told MPs that all the modelling suggests there is going to be a further surge in coronavirus infections in the late summer or autumn and he said that many vulnerable people are still not protected.
