Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cancelled scheduled appearances on his election campaign for the second day running after seeming to fall ill during a live TV show on Tuesday evening.
The president apologised after the programme went off-air for 20 minutes and said that he had an upset stomach.
The president tweeted yesterday morning saying that he had been advised by his doctors to take “a day’s rest”.
