Turkey-Syria earthquake aid efforts bolstered by search and rescue dogs – BBC News

Rescue dogs have been deployed in effort to locate people trapped under rubble following an earthquake which struck Turkey and northern Syria on Monday.

One organisation that scrambled to get help to locations in Turkey is REDOG in Switzerland.

It provides trained volunteer teams with dogs to find survivors, working with the Swiss government and GEA – a search and rescue organisation based in Turkey.
