Two children, aged eight and 10, have been killed and 17 other people are injured following a school shooting in Minneapolis, police said.
The attack happened at Annunciation Catholic School during morning Mass, Police Chief Brian O’Hara said, calling it a "deliberate act of violence against children and worshippers".
The gunman was armed with a rifle, shotgun and pistol and shot through the church windows, police said, adding that he then turned a gun on himself.
Of those injured, 14 are children, and two are in a critical condition, police said.
