Ukraine and Russia have agreed to swap 1,000 prisoners of war each after concluding the first face-to-face talks between the two nations in three years.
The date for the transfer has been set, but has not being made public, according to Ukraine’s defence minister Rustem Umerov.
Umerov also said a potential meeting between Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russia President Vladimir Putin was discussed, and that an announcement about a possible new round of talks will be announced soon.
