Ukrainian energy infrastructure has been targeted overnight in a "massive" overnight Russian missile and drone attack, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
According to Kyiv officials, serious damage has been caused to three Soviet-era power plants.
The air force said it shot down 39 of 55 missiles and 20 out of 21 attack drones used in the attack, but the damage caused has placed pressure on Ukraine’s energy system, with rolling blackouts having to be imposed on several regions across the country.
