Ukraine President Zelensky criticises Europe for avoiding “action” | BBC News


In a speech to world leaders, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky criticised Europe for avoiding to take "action" and called on the continent to "protect itself".

He was speaking after an hour-long meeting with US President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Earlier, Trump said a settlement on the Ukraine war "is coming very soon" as he joined other world leaders to inaugurate his "Board of Peace".
