Ukraine War: 2 Years on – A frontline medic’s story of struggle and survival | BBC News


Two years ago Ukraine was on the brink of something few thought would happen – a full-scale Russian invasion.

As the country enters a third year of war, much of eastern Ukraine is destroyed and many thousands of people have died.

Ukraine’s western allies are urging the world to continue their support, at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council in New York.

Tina Daheley presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Andrew Harding, who’s been following the story of one Ukrainian soldier, a medic working on the front line, since the start of the conflict.
