Ukraine has endured a third day of Russian missile strikes in an escalation which the US defence secretary says shows the ‘malice and cruelty’ of the war.
The defence secretaries of over 50 Western countries met at the headquarters of the Nato defensive alliance in Brussels.
They pledged to continue sending military hardware to Ukraine ‘for as long as it takes’ – a message echoed by the G7.
