Ukraine’s power supplies reportedly cut by a third after Russian attacks – BBC News

Russia’s continuing assault on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with missile and drone strikes has seen the country’s power supply cut by a third, according to authorities.

More than four and a half million Ukrainians have experienced power cuts over the past month.

The country’s grid operator is now urging people to cut their electricity usage as much as they can.

In the central city of Kremenchuk, which is one of the worst-affected areas, residents are dealing with blackouts every couple of hours.
