Ukraine’s President Zelensky has said in an interview with BBC News that he believes his country will have use of F-16 fighter jets in six or seven months time’.
He told the BBC’s Yalda Hakim that training on the jets would begin this summer, and admitted it was difficult to measure the success of Ukraine’s counter-offensive against Russia.
The interview comes ahead of a World Bank conference aiming to help rebuild Ukraine’s economy.
