Almost two years into Russia’s full-scale invasion, there are no longer volunteers on Ukraine’s front line.
Most of those who wanted to fight at the start of the war are either dead, injured or still stuck at the front waiting to be relieved by new recruits.
Ukraine’s goal of liberating its territory hasn’t changed, but the price it’s having to pay is rising all the time, the BBC’s Eastern Europe correspondent reports.
