UN estimates 42,000 adults and children in Gaza have life-changing injuries | BBC News


The war in Gaza has had an enormous humanitarian impact, particularly on children.

The UN’s World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 42,000 people in Gaza suffered life-changing injuries during the war, including 10,000 children.

This month, the WHO stressed the urgent need for fuel, medical supplies and call for medical evacuations to be prioritised.
