The United Nations is set to halve food rations to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh to just £4.70 – around $6 per person, per month, after failing to find enough finance.
Aid workers now fear rising hunger in the world’s largest refugee camp.
It comes after funding cuts announced by the US, which contribute almost half of all aid to the refugees.
Bangladesh is sheltering more than a million Rohingyas, a persecuted Muslim minority who fled violent purges in neighbouring Myanmar.
