South Korea and the US are holding their largest joint military exercises on the Korean Peninsula in years.
Such exercises were once routine but were previously cancelled in 2018 as the US and South Korea tried to convince the North to get rid of its nuclear weapons.
However, faced with an increasingly hostile North Korea, both countries have decided it’s time to resume training.
It means the wargames have returned, as the US and South Korea practice how to fight their common enemy using aircraft, warships and tanks.
